The Celadon Studio is a quiet place for potters to hone their craft and for new students to get the oportunity to learn in a one on one setting to achieve the most enriching learning experience.

You can visit just one time for $40 or spend 5 weeks with us for $175. Classes include two hours of one-on-one instruction per week, clay, all firings and glazes and 4 additional hours of open studio per week.

• Week one you wil learn the basics of wheel throwin. How to prepare your clay (wedging), and how to center your clay on the wheel.
• Week two you will learn how to throw a basic cylinder. The cylinder form is the basis for mugs, vases and pitchers.
• Week three you will explore the bowl form and learn about trimming. You will trim your pieces from week two.
• Week four you will work at your own pace and trim things from week three.
• The final week you will glaze all of the work you have been making during the classes. 

If you should to choose to continue your classes with us and enroll before your class ends, you receive a $10 discount on the next class.

If you are already experienced with clay and are looking to brush up on your skills I am happy to tailor the class to suit your needs.

Studio Space for the Experienced Potter

If you are an experienced potter and are looking for uninstructed studio space, we have spaces available for $75 per month. Clay is not included but must be purchased through the studio. We offer white stoneware and porcelain. The firing costs are built into the price of the clay.
